Who we are

We are a team of change-makers who believe that every helping hand can make a difference and create a better future for the community.

We started with various backgrounds in the community services sector. After experiencing unethical practise in the field, and seeing the need to be transparent and honest, we got together and started Ablemind. The importance of extending help to vulnerable community members who were eager to seek support for a better life became our goal. This moment intensified when we found that there were many such underprivileged people who needed help with access to communities, services and education. Our team expanded and we spread out in different regions to make sure we cover all possible areas and help as many people as possible.

We now work with many ages and disabilities in various different locations across Australia and answer the call to people who need our help.

Our approach

Our Mission

Our mission is to make sure all young people, children and families get all the support they need, when they need it, no matter what it is. We aim to build a team of formal and informal supports around a person.

Whether it is a reassuring conversation, financial assistance, education, professional training, or simply the assurance that they are not alone, we will make sure that everyone gets support that meets them where they’re at as quickly as possible.

Our Vision

We want to build a world where no person experiencing adversity feels alone and gets every possible help they need as soon as possible.

Our entire team wants to see a world where every person who is struggling in any way feels able to reach out and has people who’ll help them with education, jobs, and more. We want to spread out in every region so we’ll be reachable to all. We use a human rights based approach to ensure we live in a world of empowerment for all.
